Company History:

C&S Builders Ltd. is an employee owned company that was founded by C&S Construction Co. Ltd in 2000. C&S Construction had provided construction services for residential, commercial and institutional work since 1953 in the Moose Jaw Sk. area.

C&S Builders was created under the guidance of Mr. Orest Wasylyk (Past President) in order for the original partners the opportunity to retire and still provide employment / ownership opportunities for the long term employees that have continued working at C&S since 1974.

C&S Builders assumed all general contracting / project management duties from C&S Construction so the current customer base had a smooth and clean transition.

C&S takes great pride in providing quality workman ship at competitive prices.

We have taken on all kinds of contracts from simple decks to complex renovations as well as technical projects like gas bars, car washes and numerous restaurants. We are also proud to provide province wide construction services to many retail stores.

Ownership / Management History:

Sam Shaw – President and General Manager

Sam began his construction career in 1981 as a general laborer working with
H & M Construction of Moose Jaw.

This led to his move to Regina in 1988 and commenced construction in the commercial field with Coram Construction. Moving his way from journeyman carpenter, to project supervisor until his move into the PCL Regina office assuming the role as an estimator.

Sam made his way to Moose Jaw in 1998 to C & S Construction and assumed role of General Manager, with C & S Builders Ltd in 2003 and President in 2004 upon the retiring of founding President Mr. Orest Wasylyk.

Sam continues with the vision of C & S to provide quality workmanship at competitive prices for the years to come.

Tom Rogers – Project Manager

Tom started his career with C & S Construction in 1977 as a laborer working his way to journeyman carpenter and project superintendent.

Tom was promoted to Project Coordinator in 2002 and Project Manager in 2004.
Tom provides the leadership in our safety program, provides general estimating and continuous project management services to our current client base.
